One of the largest Catholic hospitals in the world (1,200 beds) recently opened in Seoul, South Korea.
The message from Pope Benedict XVI on the occasion:
[the pontiff prays that] “the physicians, nurses, administrators and staff … respond generously to the Lord’s commission to heal the sick and thus bear witness to the presence of God’s kingdom among us.”
A nice reminder of the shared mission of Catholic healthcare.
