I don’t mind saying it - even though it sounds a little weird: the Catholic Health Association is hip and with it.
A few weeks ago, I noted the arrival of a new online learning module for the ERDs produced by the CHA. Today, I learned of an even newer online tool - An explanation of Mission Assessment and Measurement.
This online module goes above and beyond expectations when it comes to sharing experiences and resources for the assessment and measurement of healthcare mission. There are tons of downloads and original video content to explore provided by health systems including Ascension Health, Providence Health & Services, Benedictine Health System and St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers.
Particularly useful to newbies like myself, is Part Three of the module: Structures for Mission Integration. This section provides a few sample organizational structures so that you can see successful models for placing mission integration into a healthcare system.
Within Catholic healthcare, I have been consistently impressed by every one’s willingness to reach across systems to assist one another in the shared effort to authentically live out our mission. This online module is just another great example of this spirit of collaboration.
And, judging from their willingness to share these excellent resources in an accessible online format, I stand by my assessment that the CHA is, indeed, hip and with it.
